Maria Isabel Gandia is the Head of Communications at CSUC (Consorci de Serveis Universitaris de Catalunya), responsible for the management of the Regional Research and Education Network in Catalonia (Anella Científica), the Neutral Internet Point in Catalonia (CATNIX) and its network services and tools. She is also a member of the GÉANT project, where she is the service manager of the Network eAcademy, mainly dealing with Orchestration, Automation and Virtualisation topics. She participates in several working groups and panels of national and international experts related to the network, such as the SIG-NOC Steering Committee, the ESNOG association or the Network and Performing Arts Production Workshop.
